Artificial breeding centres, Australia wide, have supplies of semen from high quality local bulls as well as proven blood lines from Belgium and the United Kingdom (U.K.).
Only Semen from bulls carrying Australian A.I. Accreditation should be used for breeding registrable grade and purebred livestock. The Society through its members or your semen distributors can provide further information.

When deciding to purchase a Belgian Blue bull your first point of call is to make contact with a registered member of the Australian Belgian Blue Cattle Society (refer Current Membership Listing) or contact the society directly.
You will then be assured that you are fully confident of what you are purchasing as there are many imitations out there claiming to be a Belgian Blue when in fact they are not.
You are able to converse with a registered member one on one, and possibly view their herd and witness first hand their breeding regime and view any dam or sire of any chosen animal and other off spring available. The registered breeder should be able to answer all your queries with confidence and support from the society.
As a purchaser of a pure bred animal you should look for structural correctness.
